Skills for ULRs
Tips and advice on building skills.
It is important that Union Learning Reps develop their own skills and knowledge so they are better able to help union members. For example, ULRs have good communication and people skills but since they are advocates for lifelong learning they should also take opportunities to continuously brush up with existing skills and to build new ones. The Skills for ULRs section offers useful tips and advice on skill-building and on the listening and questioning techniques reps need.
