| Unions can make learning agreements with employers |
| A union can make a learning agreement with an employer to maximise the benefits of the Union Learning Rep's (ULRs) role for members, employer and the ULRs themselves. ULRs' rights to paid time off, for instance, are described in the Employment Act 2002 and the ACAS Code of Practice but a learning agreement is company-specific and illustrates the rights and responsibilities of all concerned in the workplace. |
